Meagan Crews
Grand Marshal of the Children's Parade

Meagan Crews, the 18 year old daughter of Lee and Wendy Crews and Jim and Susan Christie, was crowned Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen in late May 2014. She is a senior at Parkway High School in Bossier City where she has been named homecoming queen, Our Beauty, most talented and most popular. She is a dual enrollment honor student involved in Student Council, Astra Club and Beta Club. She also works part-time at Holmes European Motors. This busy teen still finds time to volunteer her time and enjoys traveling the state promoting her platform, “A Spoonful of Sugar”. The purpose of her platform is to share the idea that no matter what the disability or hardship, there are always sweet things in life that make the hard times much easier to bear.

Miss Crews will soon put her scholarship winnings to good use as she seeks to obtain a degree in Interior Design, in hopes of one day being a designer on HGTV.
