Scholastic Honors:
All A Honor Roll; Advanced Honors Curriculum; National Junior Honor Society; Duke TIP; ACT State Recognition Award; Overall winner in Division III Regional Social Studies Fair; 1st place in Environmental Engineering at Regional Science Fair; 1st place in Lincoln Douglas Debate at Bearcat Classic; NOAA’s 2016 Taking the Pulse of the Planet Award: Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen Academic Award.

Leadership Roles:
Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts STAR leadership team secretary; Co- President of Cedar Creek Junior High Student Council; Vice-President, National Junior Honor Society; Worship Leader at FBC Farmerville; SYAA Mentor; and SYAA intern.

Accomplishments: Regional Student of the Year; 1st Place at FBLA Regional Conference in Public Speaking I and Impromptu Speaking; District 5 American Legion Oratorical Contest Winner; 4th place in Southern Region of NATS in Musical Theatre; Overall Vocal Winner for RAMTA Solo Festival in Voice; Played Liesl in RCT Production of The Sound of Music; and NDA All-American Dancer.

Interesting Facts: I can do both my left and right splits; I was Student of the Year in 5th and 8th grade: I performed in the musical The Sound of Music two summers in a row. I am a business owner.

Legacy: I want my legacy to be one of a confident, caring and compassionate young woman who made a difference through the promotion of her platform and who brought a new awareness of the opportunities provided to young women through Miss America’s Outstanding Teen.
