Shaun Sanghani grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana and attended Alexandria Country Day School before graduating from Bolton High School in 1998. He moved to New Orleans and attended Tulane University where he received his BA in Psychology. After only 3 years in the undergraduate program he transferred into the MBA program and graduated from the A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2003. During his final year, he helped launch a green energy startup company called Gulf Stream Energy before changing his path to the entertainment business.

He began his journey in the entertainment business at the presitigous USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2003. He was taken under the wing of Boyz n the Hood writer/director John Singleton and assisted him on the Sundance breakout hit Hustle and Flow in 2004. Shaun completed his MFA in Screenwriting in 2005 and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts recognized his thesis script, HIGH ROAD DOWN, as one of the top 100 scripts of more than 7,000 submitted for the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship. Upon graduation, Shaun was mentored by Pulitzer Prize winning writer David Mamet, and he worked closely with Mamet and The Shield creator Shawn Ryan on their TV series The Unit.

He formed SSS Entertainment in 2007 as a way to launch his own ideas and pursue his own passions. Since then, he has successfully worked in both TV and film. He has Created and Executive Produced numerous tv shows and tv series including Guardian Angels (A&E, BIO), Girls Gone Bayou (Travel Channel), Hardcore Hobbies (National Geographic Channel), and The Governors Wife (A&E), starring former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards. He produced his first film, WHITE RABBIT, in 2014. The film premiered at the Zurich Film Festival in 2013 and won numerous festival awards stateside. The film will be released February 13, 2015 in 10 major cities theatrically and in 90 million homes across the United States on VOD(Video on Demand). The film starts Britt Robertson (star of the upcoming blockbuster films The Longest Ride, Tomorrowland), Sam Trammell (True Blood, Fault in Our Stars), Nick Krause (The Descendants, Boyhood), and Ryan Lee (Super 8, This is 40, Trophy Wife). In 2014, Shaun co-wrote, produced, and financed THE AFTERMATH starring Sam Trammell and Vanessa Ferlito. The film shot in Alexandria and will be released at the end of 2015. He has a slate of 4 other films currently in development and just launched SSS Film Fund, LLC -- an investment fund being used to finance and produce films right here in Central Louisiana.

His is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Sanat V. Sanghani. Dr. Sanghani is a Radiation Oncologist that has served CENLA for more than 30 years. His brother Neil Sanghani is also a physician residing in Nashville, Tennessee.
